Volunteers Needed!
We’ll need lots of hands on deck to make the Festival the best possible. Here are the basic jobs that need to be staffed on show day. Even though September seems a long way off, we’d like to get volunteers scheduled. The link to the sign-up genius is on the Registration Information page.
Hang Quilts: Work in a small team from 7:00 – 9:30 a.m. to hang quilts. No experience needed. Some people need to be able to climb ladders.
Quilt Ambassadors: Oversee a small section of Winslow Green for a two hour shift to greet guests and keep an eye on the quilts. This is great fun because everyone is so excited about the quilts. You will wear a bright apron so folks can find you and ask questions.
You will be on your feet for the entire time. If you want to partner with a friend, add this information.
Greeter: On the main stairs to Winslow Green, welcome the attendees, assist/answer questions, and count the number of people who enter.
Info Booth/Coaster Sales: Answer questions of attendees, sell raffle tickets, and coasters! This is usually a seated job.
Anatomy of a Quilt Table: Explain to attendees how quilts are made. All information/samples will be provided.
Quilt Take Down: Work in a team to take quilts down at end of show. Hours are from 4:00 PM until quilts are down. No experience needed. Some people need to be able to climb up and down ladders
