Shop Ambassadors (Adopt a Shop)
Goal: Present the BQF and Raffle Quilt to local shop owner/manager, have them display our poster, like us on Facebook, add information to their Facebook page and newsletter.

Meet the quilt shop owner/manager (twice)
JUNE for launch of “CALL FOR QUILTS”, deliver bookmarks and Call for Quilts poster and request donation for Visitors Choice basket
AUGUST replenish bookmarks, poster for the Festival, collect donation for the Viewer’s Choice Gift Basket.
(Please call to set a meeting to be respectful of their time and to assure you talk with owner. The owner is more likely to get the poster up and bookmarks displayed.)
You will receive a packet with a complete list of topics and requests. It will contain

Guild Visits
Attend an area quilt group meeting to promote the Festival. All contacts available.
Goal: Recruit quilts for the Festival, sell raffle tickets
You will need to contact the Guild to get on their agenda and arrange to take the raffle quilt, tickets and cashbox with you. Contact information is on the signup sheet. Also available from the Raffle Quilt Marketing Chair.

Art Walks
Goal: Display the raffle quilt, sell raffle tickets, promote the Festival
Team of 3 optimal. You will set up a table and the raffle quilt on its display frame. You will need the cashbox and stub box.
Approximately 3 hours total. You need only do one of the three dates.

Quilt Drop off
Goal: Safely collect, label and sort registered quilts
Team will have a master list of registered quilts and labels for each.
Quilts are checked in and owner pins the label to the lower right corner
Quilts are stacked in sets of ten on labeled tables. 2 to 3 hour shift Friday before Festival.
Sign up in August
Quilt Return
Goal: Safely return quilts to the registered owner.
Set aside any quilts chosen for display at BARN.
Assure written permission to display quilts.
